Magnet Instructions

Instructions for attaching your magnet to your Metal Vistas print:

1. Place the print face-down on a soft cloth or towel.
2. Locate the center of the print.
3. Use the included alcohol pad to clean the bare metal center of the print.
4. Use the alcohol pad to clean the surface of the magnet. Avoid touching both cleaned surfaces, as skin oils can reduce adhesion.
4. Wait for 30 seconds or until the alcohol has evaporated.
5. Peel the protective film from one side of the adhesive disk and press the disc firmly onto the back of the print, as close to the center as possible.
6. Remove the film from the other side of the adhesive disc and firmly press the magnet onto the exposed adhesive.

Best Practices:

• Never leave your print in direct sunlight, which can cause it to fade over time.

• The magnet is very strong, so remember to hold the print near the center when adding or removing it from a metal surface. This will reduce the risk of bending your print.

• Do not use abrasives or harsh detergents to clean your print. A clean, damp cloth will usually do the trick, or Dawn dish soap for greasy stains. Avoid getting the adhesive disc wet.

•Keep the magnet away from electronics and items with a magnetic strip, such as credit cards and gift cards.

•The magnet is brittle, so avoid dropping it onto hard surfaces. If it should break, dispose of it carefully, because the fragments may be as sharp as glass.
