This glossy 4" x 6" aluminum print began as an A.I. (artificial intelligence) prompt* but that was just the first step. It was then edited and formatted as I would one of my digital photos, and the end result is more painterly, colorful and dynamic.
This particular image takes its style and palette from Andrew Wyeth, one of my favorite American painters... and I am sure it was just an oversight that he never painted any robots. The look of the robots themselves derives from Darrell K. Sweet, one of my favorite science fiction cover illustrators, whose work was ubiquitous when I was young.
This metal print includes a custom print stand that is handcrafted from repurposed scrap solid-surface material, a suede-microfiber cleaning cloth and a signed certificate of authenticity. Our products are proudly made in the USA, and wherever possible, even our accessories and packaging are sourced domestically.
* All images that begin with artificial intelligence prompts are signed "Metal Vistas", while images which begin as digital photographs are signed 'Robert Belgrad', so our customers will know the difference at a glance.
* The coffee mug is shown for size reference only. It is not included.
